He argues very well that John Edwards is showing true leadership while his two main rivals are more concerned about political calculations and not upsetting anyone.

Twenty-eight years ago today, 31-year-old Dennis Kucinich, then the youngest-ever mayor of a major American city, famously pushed Cleveland into economic default rather than capitulate to the demands of a group of bankers eager to gobble up the city’s power plant.

Al Gore's movie, "An Inconvenient Truth", has just won two Academy Awards. The man used the ceremony to crack a few jokes about his possible candidacy.

Gore has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. It has been claimed that should he win the prize, he may use the opportunity and the media attention to announce his candidacy at that time.

What do you think: will Al Gore be a candidate in the year 2008 elections?

I am personally a big fan of Al Gore: he is a man on a mission and I like his mission as much as he seems to believe in it.

The the firefighter union IAFFA invited the 2008 hopefuls to their March 14, 2007, bi-partisan Presidential Forum.

John Edwards, John McCain, Barack Obama, Chuck Hagel, Hillary Clinton, Chris Dodd, Joe Biden, Duncan Hunter and seven other candidates will make their case before the 1,000 delegates who will be attending the Forum.

Early on, the IAFF made a decision to invite all serious candidates from both political parties — except one: former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
